WIP: Galaxy Note 2 Car Dock Part 4 (Video)
At the end of part 3, I was planning on upgrading the wireless charger to a QI-standard one. The chargers will take weeks to arrive as I ordered when the shops were on holiday for Lunar New Year. I was also working on an automatic retract and extending system for the dock which has been for the most part completed.

DIY: HTC Amaze 4G Screen Replace
Here's a quick project while I'm waiting for parts for the other projects. I obtained an HTC Amaze 4g with a broken screen and wanted to fix it up to work again.

WIP: Galaxy Note 2 Car Dock Part 3 (Video)
At the end of Part 2, I had a semi-functional dock for the Note 2. It was able to retract and extend, but the wireless charging portion did not function properly and was constantly disconnecting and reconnecting every time I shifted into reverse or braked.
In this part I try to solve some of the problems and improve on other aspects of the dock.

WIP: Galaxy Note 2 Car Dock Part 2 (video)
It's been a while but I've been slowly making progress on my Note 2 car dock. In my last update I made a frame to test out the charging out of foam core, but now I've made one out of Lexan.

WIP: Galaxy Note 2 Car Dock
While I'm waiting for parts for my humanoid robot, I got started on another project I've been wanting to do.
As you may have seen in my previous posts, I installed a tablet into the Genesis Coupe. While it has been great with it's OEM look and offline navigation ability, there are some small issues and some features missing that I would like in a car dash system. I'll describe some of the issues later on, but in an attempt to resolve these issues and to unite all of my electronics, I've decide to swap out the tablet and replace it with a dock for my Galaxy Note 2.

WIP: 20 DOF Humanoid Robot (video)
This is a work in progress for my build of a 20 DOF (degree of freedom) humanoid robot. Video of some current progress can be seen after the break.
Show: Maze/Firefighter Robot (video)
In my final year of university, one of the projects I had to do was to make a robot that can navigate through a maze to find and put out simulated fires. We had a set microcontroller to use (Freescale's HCS12 Microcontroller) and then we were free to use whatever components we wanted to complete the task.
Not the neatest looking robot, but it did its job.
